Hey everyone! Today, I want to discuss the importance of waking up early. Does it really matter? In my opinion, it’s not about the time you wake up, but how you use the time you have.
Time Utilization
Waking up two hours early to beat the gym rush makes sense. But waking up early just to prepare for work doesn’t necessarily mean you’re being productive—unless you maximize that time. For instance, if you have a long commute, use that time to listen to audiobooks or podcasts instead of just commercial radio. The key is to make the most out of your available time, regardless of when you start your day.

Subjectivity of “Early”
“Early” is subjective. If you work the graveyard shift, early could mean 3 PM for you. What matters is how you use your time. Some people function perfectly fine waking up, working their eight hours, and hitting the gym afterward. Big gyms can be crowded during peak hours, but there are always alternatives like smaller, specialized gyms that might suit your schedule better.
Maximizing Gym Time
My wife and I go to an Olympic weightlifting gym with limited platforms, which means fewer people and less waiting. This may not work for everyone, but it’s an option. As a former CrossFit coach, I noticed that peak times (like 5 PM) are packed, but later classes can be almost empty, offering more personalized training.
Structuring Your Day
Learning to maximize your time is crucial. For example, meal prepping, planning your week, and even organizing your wardrobe can save time. I switched to all-black socks and underwear to simplify my morning routine, saving valuable decision-making time.
Streamlining Daily Tasks
Another time-saving tip is to do dishes immediately after using them. Letting them pile up turns a simple task into a dreaded chore. By washing dishes as they become dirty, you prevent them from becoming overwhelming and save time in the long run.
Building Good Habits
Small improvements add up. Doing dishes right away or organizing your wardrobe might seem minor, but these habits give you more time for important tasks. Consistency is key. I’ve been consistently posting one blog per week, and though it started slow, my viewership has steadily increased.

Consistency Pays Off
Consistency in your efforts leads to success. I’ve seen this firsthand with my TikTok videos. By no means is this a brag, but I do expect this number to keep growing as the page grows. Initially, my videos got a few hundred views, but now they average 700-800 views each. The key is consistency and continually improving your content.
Making the Most of Every Minute
Whether it’s waking up early or staying up late, what truly matters is that every minute of your day pushes you closer to your goals. Use your time wisely, be consistent, and always strive for improvement. This approach will yield better results than simply waking up early without a plan.
Final Thoughts
Does waking up early matter? Not really. What matters is how you utilize your time and ensure every second counts towards achieving your goals. Keep pushing forward, stay consistent, and make the most of every opportunity to improve and succeed.
